Ice Seguerra, a singer-songwriter and actor-director, has addressed an appeal to his LGBTQIA community and the country’s lawmakers.

This is about what he said was intended to the delay of the deliberations on the SOGIE Equality Bill that he supports.

The Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Expression Equality Bill, commonly known as the Anti-Discrm!nation Bill, affirms every individual’s right to be free from discrim1nation and marginalization, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

That’s why, in an Instagram post on January 24, Ice addressed his feelings about the information he allegedly received and quickly transmitted to LGBTQ community members and allies.

“URGENT ALARM, MGA LGBTQ+ AT MGA ALLIES: There are attempts to delay, ONCE AGAIN, the SOGIE Equality Bill from being deliberated in the Senate Plenary. Mga bakla, all eyes on the Senate tomorrow at hanggang mapasa ang batas,” Ice Seguerra stated.

He also called for senators to be tapped to discuss the bill in the Senate.
