Many netizens commented when a mother told her board-passer daughter to construct her own tarpaulin. Ma. Isabel has gone viral. Isabel Lim is famous for her amusing TikTok video.

Isabel, 22, is among those who passed the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination on November 30, 2022.

But it was Isabel, who constructed her own celebratory tarpaulin after her mother requested it, who captivated the internet.

“Yung ikaw nakapasa ng Boards pero ikaw din pinagawa ng tarp mo [laughing with tears emoji],” published-as-is post by Isabel in her TikTok video, which shows pictures, text, and design being applied to the tarp via computer app.”

“After our board exam halos araw-araw na po ako kinukulit ng mama ko na magpapagawa na siya ng tarpaulin kahit wala pang results,” Isabel shared.

The young lady received her diploma from the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology in Cabanatuan.

“Ako po inutusan niyang mag-lay out ng design since marunong naman daw akong mag-edit at para makatipid na rin.”

It was initially against Isabel’s will, especially since she had no idea if she had passed the test.

“At first ayoko pa po pumayag dahil sobrang anxious ko po sa paghihintay ng results.”

“But in the end pumayag na din po ako kase I can see my mom’s excitement, and editing that picture also helps me to relieve my anxiety sa paghihintay ng results ng board exam.”

Isabel’s exhaustion was not in vain because her name was included in the list of passers when the results were announced.

Isabel made a joke about it when she typed, “We are so proud of you,” herself on her own tarpaulin.

“Yung sa ‘We are so proud of you’ po muntik ko na pong ilagay na, ‘I’m so proud me,” HAHAHAHA.

“Pero seriously po, I’m happy that I edit my own layout for my tarpaulin, and I’m so grateful for having a supportive mom like her.”

Isabel’s circumstance, however, is not unique; many netizens have had similar experiences.
