Actor Oh Young Soo (O Yeong-su) from the Squid Game was accused of s3xu@lly assaulting a lady in the middle of 2017 and was charged on November 24, 2022.

The 78-year-old actor was charged by the Seongnam branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors Office “without detention.”

In December 2021, the victim complained.

The case was reactivated by the prosecution following the victim’s petition after the police closed the investigation in April without charging Oh.

Oh was arrested despite his denial of the accusation.

Oh said he held the hand of the woman who accused while they walked near a lake, according to sources in Korean media.

His apologies to the woman a year ago, he continued, was not a confession of guilt.

Oh made headlines for his performance in Squid Game and won the Golden Globe for best TV supporting actor in 2022.

Before he took the role of player No. 1, or Oh Il-nam, in Squid Game, he was well recognized in the theater.
