PRC announced that 3,826 out of 5,958 (64.22%) successfully passed the exams. The results of examination with respect to eighteen (18) examinees were withheld as per PRC Resolution No. 1565, 1579, 1580, 1583 s.2022 and Board Resolution No.13 and 14 s.2022.
PRC releases official results of the October 2022 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools, and performance of schools.
According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 s. 2021, the October 2022 Physician board exam results are targeted for release on Wednesday, November 9, or in six (6) working days.
NOTE: Results may be released ahead of the target or at a later date without prior notice.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the second Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on October 21, 22, 28 and 29.
The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Chairman; Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Martha O. Nucum, Dr. Efren C. Laxamana, and Dr. Joanna V. Remo, Members.
COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION:
The PLE or medicine board exam covered the following subjects:
October 21: biochemistry, anatomy and histology, microbiology, and parasitology.
October 22: physiology, legal medicine, ethics, and medical jurisprudence, and pathology.
October 28: pharmacology and therapeutics surgery and Opthalmology, otolaryngology and rhinology and medicine.
October 29: obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and nutrition, and preventive medicine and public health.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
PRC said that registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow the instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
notice of admission (for identification only)
2 pieces passport-sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
2 sets of documentary stamps
1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in to the Roster of Registered Professionals.
