Following the continued torrential rain brought by Typhoon Paeng, 41 families in Barangay Alicaocao Cauayan City were evacuated.

Paeng (Nalgae) intensified from a tropical storm to a severe tropical storm in the early hours of Saturday, October 29, urging the weather bureau to issue a Signal No. 3 for some areas.
Paeng’s maximum sustained winds increased from 85 km/h to 95 km/h, according to a bulletin issued after 2 a.m. by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). this Saturday Its gustiness increased from 105 km/h to 130 km/h.
The severe tropical storm was already approaching the coastal waters of Virac, Catanduanes, moving west northwest at 30 km/h, up from 25 km/h previously.
Paeng is anticipated to keep moving west northwest across Luzon until Sunday, October 30th, according to PAGASA.
The severe tropical storm is expected to make landfall in Albay-Camarines Sur within 6 hours, or early Saturday morning, and then cross the Bicol peninsula until noon.
