As a sign of solidarity for the TV host-comedian, the It’s Showtime hosts gave Vhong Navarro a group embrace.

Vhong is now being held in a National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) prison center since the ràpe allegation brought against him by model Deniece Cornejo is non-bailable, or without bail.

Friend, co-host, and fellow Streetboys member, Jhong Hilario, was the first to talk about his moral support for Vhong during the live airing of It’s Showtime this Tuesday afternoon, September 20, 2022.

“Kuys Vhong, nandito lang kami, kapit lang. We love you, Kuys Vhong,” Jhong stated.

“Yes, Kuys Vhong, mag-group hug tayo para kay Vhong.” Vice also stated.

Vice led the group hug, followed by the statement that “I love you, Vhong. We will all be praying for you Vhong!”

Vhong has been absent from Kapamilya Channel’s noontime program for the second day because of the làwsuit involving him, which began in January 2014 and continues to be a nightmare for him.

Vhong was unable to leave the NBI where he went yesterday, September 19, since he surrendered and made bail of P36,000 for an eight-year-old charge of làsciviousness brought by Deniece.

Even after posting bond, Vhong was unable to secure temporary freedom owing to the unexpected issuing of an arrest warrant for the non-bailable ràpe case, which Cornejo had also filed.
