The Department of Education is to release soon the official results for July 2022 National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH) or more popularly known as the Principals’ Test Exam, through a DepEd memorandum.
NQESH 2022 will be administered online as part of DepEd’s proactive response to the need to prioritize the safety and well-being of all DepEd personnel and recognize the varying COVID-19 alert levels operating across the different regions in the country.
To Pass the NQESH, these are the requirements for the appointment and reclassification of all aspiring applicants for Principal and Assistant Principal positions in all public elementary and secondary schools.

According to RCTQ Director Dr. Gina Gonong, “NQESH will help ensure that DepEd appoints school heads who possess the knowledge and competencies expected in the Career Stage 1 of the PPSSH and who can competently support teachers in their profession.”
Meets the minimum Qualification Standards (QS) for Principal I position stipulated in DepEd Order No. 39, s. 2007 entitled Modified Qualification Standards for the Positions of Head Teachers and Principals.
