Danilo Cruz has been named director general of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Malacañang announced on Wednesday.

Olivia Garcia “Bong” Coo has been named commissioner of the Philippine Sports Commission, according to Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles (PSC).

Cruz served as Undersecretary of Labor and Employment during the Arroyo governance. 

“The Office of the Executive Secretary through Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles confirms the appointment of Danilo Cruz as TESDA Director-General,” the Office of the Press Secretary said in a declaration.

Furthermore, bowling legend Coo has managed to bring the country pride by winning numerous medals in different tournaments, along with five gold medals, two silver medals, and three bronze medals in the Asian Games, as well as eight gold medals in the Southeast Asian Games.

Following Coo’s appointment, the PSC will assign a chairman and three commissioners.
