Michael V came back positive for COVID-19 for the second time. On July 23, 2022, the comedian verified this in an Instagram post. He also posted a picture of the testing kits used on him on his Instagram and Facebook profiles.

“Matagal na kaming hindi nagkikita. Actually sinabihan ko na s’ya na ‘wag nang bumalik pero eto na naman s’ya… magha-‘HI’ lang daw at magpapa-alala na nandito lang s’ya sa tabi-tabi.

“Hindi naman daw talaga s’ya umalis, palipat-lipat lang s’ya ng bahay,” he stated.

Bitoy tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time on July 18, 2020, during the peak of the virus’s outbreak.

He was unwell for fifteen days with this infection.

He had a strange sensation in his nasal region, lost his sense of smell, and nearly died from pneumonia.

Bitoy even joked in a recent Instagram post that the virus had altered and was no longer as dangerous as previously.
“Pero hindi pa rin ako naniniwala. ‘Once a killer…’ well…”

He also highlighted the fresh motivation it had given him.

“Siyempre inabala niya na naman yung pamilya ko, yung community namin, yung trabaho ko…”

“Pero salamat na rin sa dalaw. Hayaan mo… kahit bad trip ako sa ‘yo, hinding-hindi kita makakalimutan.”
