Maja Salvador, an actress, expressed the intense emotion she is experiencing over adding a new segment to the longest-running noontime program Eat Bulaga.

Maja Salvador was offered a new segment called “Bida Next,” which functions as a talent competition and gives Filipinos the chance to showcase their abilities and be a part of the program.

Maja entered the Dabarkads the previous year and was given the title of “Dancing Kween” for her own segment.

Maja said that she has been a supporter of Eat Bulaga since she was a small girl on the day she was introduced as the new presenter of the Kapuso noontime show.

According to a report in GMA Entertainment, the actress cried as the new program segment and she were launched jointly.

“Sorry, siguro po sobrang overwhelming lang last Saturday sa segment na ibinigay sa akin ng EB [Eat Bulaga] tapos ngayon pine-present niyo naman ako na one of the dabarkads so parang nagsi-sink-in bigla na parang ‘Ay parang naiiyak ako? sorry po,” Maja stated.

She was hugged by longtime hosts Paolo Ballesteros and Allan K. She also remarked that whatever she mentioned when she first started hosting Eat Bulaga was genuine.

“Totoo po yung [sinabi ko noong] ni-launch ako [dito] from bata na nakikinood lang [sa TV ng] kapitbahay, fan ng ‘Little Miss Philippines,’ and now nandito [sa Eat Bulaga], binigyan ng segment, grabe ‘yung love and support na binibigay tapos ngayon itong segment na ‘Bida Next’ parte [ako] ng dabarkads talaga so ‘yun po parang naging [emosyonal] ako,” the actress stated.

The actress thanked Eat Bulaga for the chance the program had provided her in one of her most latest Instagram posts.

She expressed her joy at having a segment that has served as an inspiration to others.
