An automobile accident involving Jason Momoa occurred in California after a motorcycle rider crossed lanes and hit the actor’s car.
According to a police report obtained by HollywoodLife last Sunday, July 24, the “Aquaman” star was traveling on Old Topanga Canyon Road when one Vitaliy Avagimyan “crossed over the double yellow lines” and went to the opposite lane where the actor’s car was approaching. Fortunately, the actor was unharmed in the collision.
“As a result of this collision, Mr. Avagimyan was ejected from his motorcycle. After the collision, Mr. Momoa exited his vehicle to assist Mr. Avagimyan and was able to flag down a passing motorist to call 911,”
Avagimyan was taken to a hospital after suffering “minor and non-life threatening injuries,” while Momoa stayed at the scene and assisted the law enforcement officers who were conducting the investigation.
Momoa and his team have not yet commented on the situation, but according to the New York Post, no charges have been brought against anyone in connection with the incident.
Momoa will also appear in “Fast and Furious 10” and the upcoming DC sequel “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” both of which will be released in theaters in 2023.
