Senator-elect Robin Padilla explained why President-elect Bongbong Marcos was not included in the list of “alas,” those who personally supported his campaign.
The actor-turned-politician claimed that the former presidential daughter assisted him in obtaining the Aquino votes since she campaigned for him despite the fact that he was part of the victorious UniTeam of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte.
Robin Padilla also stated that the support of President Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Bong Go, and Inday Sara were quite beneficial. Supporters of PBBM responded strongly to this.
In response, the action actor clarified in a previous Facebook post. He said that, while he was running under the UniTeam and supported the BBM-Sara pair, the President-elect had not formally supported him.
“Paano ko po sasabihin na isa sa alas ko na mag endorso sa akin si incoming president Bongbong marcos eh malinaw naman po sa lahat ng ganap nong kampanya na hindi po ako na endorso ng aking personal na Kaibigan,” Robin stated.
Robin previously posted on his friend and Queen of Talk, Kris Aquino. Together with his prayers for Kris’s healing, Robin revealed how the actress-host helped him get elected the Senate election.
Robin emphasized that it was clear that he was with the UniTeam due of his friendship with BBM. The Senator-elect further maintained that his prior post was his letter to Kris Aquino, and that he was only stating facts.
“Hindi po ako Maari mag imbento ng ganap na ako ay inendorso ni PBBM na hindi naman po naganap at ilagay sa liham na para kay ms Kris Aquino,” he remarked.
Robin Padilla also stated that if the reality that he was a Marcos supporter till now isn’t enough for those who criticized his earlier post, he can’t do anything else.
“Politics is not real. Politics has no friends only personal interest. I am not a political friend. I will always be a personal friend,” Robin Padilla remarked.
