Through a previous Instagram post, famous YouTuber Mariel Padilla thanked departing president Rodrigo Duterte.

On June 26, a celebration of President Duterte’s contributions to the country was arranged. Her spouse, Senator-elect Robin Padilla, has supported the Duterte government from the start and has remained to do so up till now, as Mariel Padilla mentioned in a previous IG post.

Mariel captioned her image on the social networking site for sharing photos, “Through the years!!! Maraming maraming salamat PRRD!!!

She included a message for the departing president. Mariel Padilla wished for you, expressing, “My wish for you is you is after your presidency, the next chapter of your life will be peaceful, worry-free, healthy and happy. You deserve it po.”  

Many internet users who left comments on Mariel’s post complimented the President. Some even claimed that PRRD was the ideal president.

A few Davao-based internet users also showed joy at the President’s return to his hometown, where he previously held the office of mayor for a couple of years.

Mariel has also been a huge supporter of her husband’s political career. She supported Robin during the election period by using her power both physically and financially. The former Pinoy Big Brother presenter has high hopes for her husband’s performance in his new role as senator.

She was apparently offended by claims that Robin Padilla was unfit to serve in Congress because of he was unqualified to be a lawmaker.
