After Montgomery remarked on her adorable photo with Piolo Pascual, Kapamilya actress Lovi Poe emphasized that he was not envious of Piolo.

She revealed last Monday that her lover is really happy that she is now working with her ideal leading guy following the press presentation for her next series “Flower of Evil” with Piolo.

Lovi said, “Well he’s very excited kasi nga na-open up ko na sa kanya na isa talaga siya (Piolo) sa gusto kong maka-trabaho,”

She added, “He (Montgomery) will always be proud kasi nga finally naka trabaho ko na siya (Piolo),”

Lovi stated that her boyfriend commented on her Instagram photo not because he was envious of Piolo, but rather to make fun of her.

Lovi said, “Oh, no, no. He’s like that kasi sense of humor niya yon. His sense of humor is more like that kaya tawang tawa naman ako,” 

Lovi recently shared a picture of herself with Piolo on social media, addressing him as “mahal.”

Lovi posted, “Yes, mahal? Daan tayong @itsshowtimena mamaya? @piolo_pascual,”

Piolo replied, “Eto nagpapapogi na para sayo mahal @lovipoe ehehe,”

Fans responded with laughing emojis when Montgomery made the following remark on the post: “So this is what you’re up to when I’m not around.”

In “Flower of Evil,” the Philippine version of the well-liked suspense drama of the same name from South Korea, terrible secrets will resurface and put Lovi and Piolo’s love for one another to the ultimate test. The show will debut on Viu on June 23 and 24, followed by June 25 and 26 by Kapamilya Channel and A2Z.

The Viu original adaptation of “Flower of Evil” depicts the seemingly ideal lives of Jacob and Iris (Piolo and Lovi), together with their little daughter Luna (Sienna Stevens). Iris is a recognized police investigator, and Jacob is a metal worker who owns and runs his own shop.

Iris had no idea that Jacob was keeping his scandalous and dark background from her. Since successfully assuming the name of Jacob del Rosario instead of Daniel Villareal, Jacob has been leading a double life for all these years.

In addition to having an antisocial personality disorder diagnosis and being wanted by the authorities for murder, Daniel is the sole child of Abel (Gardo Versoza), a convicted serial murderer who took his own life.

This is both Lovi’s debut drama series as a Kapamilya and Piolo and Lovi’s first time working together. Under the supervision of Darnel Villaflor and Richard Arellano, the cast also includes JC de Vera, Agot Isidro, Denise Laurel, Joem Bascon, Epy Quizon, Rita Avila, Jett Pangan, Pinky Amador, Joross Gamboa, Joko Diaz, and Edu Manzano.

In 16 markets, including the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, and South Africa, “Flower of Evil” is the first Viu original adaptation drama series from the Philippines to stream simultaneously 48 hours before its TV broadcast.
