The actor revealed how his girlfriend, Catriona Gray, responded to his heated love scene in “A Family Affair” with Ivana Alawi.

Along with Gerald Anderson, Jake Ejercito, and Jameson Blake, the two will appear in the forthcoming Kapamilya drama series “A Family Affair.”

Sam was born in Ohia to a Filipina mother and an American father.

He moved to the Philippines in 2005 to seek a profession in showbiz and modeling.

He appeared in a few commercials as a little part before getting a main role in Close Up’s TV commercial with Barbie Almalbis.

Then he appeared on the reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), which helped him become one of the country’s most popular personalities.

Close to You, starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo, was his first major movie appearance.

Ivana, real name Mariam Sayed Sameer Marbella Al-Alaw, is a half-Filipina/half-Moroccan artist, model, and YouTuber.

Her acting career began when she was cast in the sixth season of GMA-7’s StarStruck.

She moved to ABS-CBN in 2018. Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Gabi is her first work on the Kapamilya Network.

She then performed the character of Amor in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

She also appeared in the film Sino ang Maysala? Mea Culpa, where she won the Best New Female Personality award at the 33rd PMPC Star Awards for Television.

She is well-known on the video sharing site YouTube, where she has over 15 million subscribers.

Sam and Ivana’s roles will conduct an intimate scene in the series.

When questioned if his girlfriend, Catriona Gray, was jealous of Ivana due to previous love scenes, he responded,  “Kahit hindi siya actress, we had a few talks and she’s very, very understanding. I think that’s hard to find, you know, obviously with someone that’s not in the business. “

“Just having that understanding na trabaho ko ito, and that the trust is there. Hindi siya selosa. I’m thankful that I have someone like that,” he continued.
