Dawn Chang, a former housemate on Pinoy Big Brother, stated that the extension of ABS-franchise CBN’s is not the cause for her support for Vice President Leni Robredo’s campaign for president.

The Kapamilya’s earlier post, in which she expressed her support for the VPLeni, was recently commented by her haters.

“Para sa franchise kahit walang project sa ABS CBN, hahahaha, umaasa kapa din?” (“For the franchise even if there is no project on ABS CBN hahahaha hope so too?”) said a netizen who disagreed with Dawn’s political views.

According to the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the actress responded calmly to this question. She stated that she is looking for a brighter future, which includes her basher.

“Sa magandang kinabukasan oo naman. Lalo na para sa mga tulad mo. Para maintindihan mo na hindi nakabase sa franchise ang pagkakaroon ng prinsipyo at paninindigan,Kaya huwag ka mawawalan ng pag asa ha. Kaya mo yan,” (“For a better future, of course. Especially for those like you. For you to understand that having a principle and commitment is not based on the franchise, So don’t lose hope ha. You can do it,”) Dawn Chang stated.

The haters  did not stop there, as the franchise renewal problem was raised in another tweet. “Wala kayong maloloko dito pinaka goal nyo is mabalik ang franchise kaya nag sama kayo. Bakit nyo ginawa yung pag suporta nyo nung 2016 nung tumakbo VP si Leni dahil may franchise pa kayo nun?” (“You don’t have to be fooled here. Your main goal is to get the franchise back so you’re together. Why did you do your support in 2016 when Leni ran as VP because you still have a franchise then?) Dawn’s basher stated.

Dawn Chang has already been criticised for her political views. She was also chastised for criticizing actress-host Toni Gonzaga for hosting the proclamation of former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte of UniTeam.

Dawn did not respond to the tirade she launched on her social media account against Toni, the wife of film director Paul Soriano.
