Willie Revillame is already regretting leaving GMA 7 to lead Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc., according to social media.

AMBS, or Advance Media Broadcasting System, is the new name of Channel 2, which was purchased by business magnate and former senator Manny Villar. Willie is expected to run it once it is operational.

On March 26, a news website said that the TV personality and comedian believed GMA’s executives should return to the network. Willie is alleged to be disappointed that he immediately quit the Kapuso network.

Willie is claimed to be bored with the delay in the opening of AMBS owing to some technological issues, according to the news supplied by the abovementioned online news outlet. Aside from the fact that the new TV network is struggling to produce daily content owing to a lack of talent, the station still lacks a studio and a transmitter.

Willie discussed the problem on “Wowowin: Tutok Para Manalo,” which can be viewed on YouTube and Facebook on March 28.

“Hindi ko na papatulan ang mga negative. Kung nakakabasa kayo ng fake news, huwag na lang pansinin ‘yan, naku, mahirap na lang magsalita.

“Hindi ako naaapektuhan diyan, whatever you say, alam namin kung ano ang totoo, ang programang ito ay gumagawa ng paraan para makatulong sa mga kababayan,” TV host explained.

“Saka huwag niyo ako isusulat sa bilyonaryo (website), hindi ako bilyonaryo, hindi ako businessman na bilyonaryo, simple lang po ako, masinop lamang ako sa buhay.” Willie Revillame beged to the public.

“Last week may mga lumalabas sa diyaryo, sa mga bilyonaryo na news diyan. Dapat reliable ang source niyo, kasi napi-fake news kayo.

“Sayang lang yung news niyo, sulat niyo ako nang isulat, kahit anong sabihin niyo sa akin, masama, walanghiya, wala sa akin ‘yan.

“Basta alam ng Diyos, alam ng aking mga nakakasama kung ano ang pagkatao ko at kung ano ang totoo. Di ba, yun ang importante?” he added.

Meanwhile, Willie is standing up for veteran journalist and radio-TV broadcaster Nanay Cristy Fermin.

Cristy Fermin stated yesterday on her YouTube vlog “Showbiz Now Na” that she had previously spoken with Willie about the phony news.

“Saan kaya nila nakuha yun? Fake news, yun,” Willie replied.

When the news spread, Willie was surprised, prompting the TV presenter to ask, “Ano to laro?” Hindi nga ako pumirma ng bagong kontrata at babalik din pala ako, dahil mali ang desisyon ko, pinag-isipan kong mabuti yun. ’

Willie’s final episode of “Wowowin: Tutok To Win” aired on GMA on Feb. 11, and then rumors leaked that he would be heading to AMBS. He further claimed that the TV host is not only a talent on the Villar family’s network, but also one of its executives.
