Cebu food supplier Marjorie Abastas detailed what happened on the arrangement with customer Maria May Hofileña. Raffy Tulfo greeted Marjorie and asked what happened to the agreement with an anxious customer because of her refusal to pay in full for the ordered food package.
According to Marjorie, they talked in the barangay where Maria May apologized for her alleged mistakes. “Second hearing po namin noong August 5, pagpunta namin doon, nag-acknowledge yung kapitan namin na iniwan niya kaming dalawa (Maria May) sa room, kami lang dalawa talaga ang mag-usap,”said Marjorie.
According to Marjorie, Maria also admitted that she was to blame for everything that happened
and she was only provoked in front of her guests.
Marjorie also saw the sincerity of Maria May’s apology. So she gives her a chance and settles the remaining payment of Maria May. They have also signed with the barangay officials that they will not file any more cases against each other.
It will be recalled that the case that was brought before Tulfo reached part 4 after the video went viral where Maria May’s alleged refusal to pay Marjorie’s orders was not enough for her.
In a live video on Facebook shared by Brigada News FM CEBU, the Punong Barangay of Brgy. Sto. Niño Lourdes Ramirez that Maria had already paid Marjorie and she even gave money in addition to her payment.
