The post of the 35-year-old painter and professional make-up artist about her photo exhibit caught the attention of the netizens and garnered mixed reaction and sparked debate on the social media over the controversial issue.
Some of the netizens said that the Filipina-French model and TV host is using the “poverty porn” to take advantage over the pitiful situation of the Filipino people in the country in order to get the attention for the benefit of her exhibit launching starting on March 3, 2021 dubbed as “KUNDIMAN.”
Some of the photos posted by the actress that sparked debate on social media include the pose of her setting on a wooden chair with her artwork painting on it, but what caught the attention of the netizens is the background poverty which you can see the house of ordinary Filipino people.
The post triggered mixed reaction and debate online that some of them were deleted by the fashion designer.
One netizen ask “why she needs to delete the comment from which Solenn answered saying..
“Because negativity is toxic. People who are quick to judge are toxic.
“That’s what happened to the world when social media became too easy to use,” she answered.
