Nikki Bigornia, the daughter of news reporter and anchor Doris Bigornia sent out an appeal for financial help. “Nasa ospital pa po si Mommy, kaya tina-try ko pong maging matatag at matapang para kay Mommy, tulad niya,” she said.

Bigornia has been confined to the hospital for more than a month. He was rushed to the emergency room on Feb. 22 after suffering a heart attack.

“Nalaman po namin na may heart failure na po, which also means na nagha-heart attack na po siya. Nalaman din namin na marami siyang iba pang sakit. Naglabasan na po ang kaniyang mga sakit. May kidney failure na po siya. Nagda-dialysis po siya for that. Tapos diabetic po siya. At nalaman din po na may fluid in her lung area which until now, we are trying to address,” said Nikki Bigornia to the reporter of ABS-CBN.

They are very grateful to everyone who helped and continue to support their family. “Nagpapasalamat kami. Ever since na-admit si Mama, maraming nag-abot ng tulong at ng kanilang mga dasal kay Mommy. Kaya maraming salamat po. Kasi, for sure, nakatulong po yun dahil narinig naman po tayo ng Diyos.”

Nikki also created a GoGetFunding page for everyone who wanted to help her mother’s medical expenses.
