Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray visits the Philippine Red Cross headquarters to donate blood on Friday, September 18, 2020.

On her Instagram post the beauty queen shared the actual photos during blood donation. Along with the photos she shared, she captioned them with the meaningful message to inspire everyone reading her post. She said that donating blood is done by a hero because you save life by giving your blood to the needy.

She also noted that donating blood is the easiest way to save life. So she encourages everyone to join with her advocacy in donating in blood because she knows that during pandemic time people are hesitant to come to the blood bank and that’s the very reason the supplies of blood are running out.

According to the Filipino-Australian beauty queen, the global pandemic change the lifestyle of everyone from normal to new normal but this should not be the reason to hinder the passion of helping others and be compassionate towards our most vulnerable.
