The report about the death of Senator Bong Revilla surfaced online as it spread anywhere in the country about his death. Was he really died for COVID?

Just this morning, Friday, August 28, 2020, Senator Bong Revilla took to his social media in Facebook to clarify the news circulated that he was already dead. The senator narrated that there are many people anywhere in the country calling him from Cebu, Davao and United State some were crying confirming his death due to the COVID-19 disease.

But he appeared again on Facebook alive and kicking so that the world may know that he is still alive as of August 28, 2020. He also said he is now on is full recovery.

“Akala, namatay na daw ako. Tumatawag from Cebu, from Davao, from the States. Kumalat na… na ako daw ay pumanaw na.
“Buhay na buhay po ako, at malakas na malakas! At road to my full recovery.
“Hindi pa lang ako masyadong nakakapag-exercise ngayon, but at least, nakakapag-walking na ako, at nakakapagbilad na sa araw.
“Ngayon po, itong mga walang magawa sa buhay, na pilit tayong pinapatay, e, buhay na buhay po ako. Siguro, wala lang talaga silang magawa.
“Ang sa akin lang, para doon sa mga nagmamahal sa akin, sumusuporta sa akin—nandito po ako, buhay na buhay…
“Buhay na buhay si Bong Revilla, at hindi po tayo papatalo sa COVID, kaya kailangan nating maging maingat.”

When Revilla was confined in the hospital due to COVID-19, there are people expressed wishes for his fast recovery, and yet, there are also who were glad citing to the previous issue Revilla was involved in a pork barrel scam on 2014.
