Kapamilya comedian Pokwang had confirmed that she will be leaving her former network, ABS-CBN.
As we all know, the giant network is facing the issue of franchise renewal. Since the beginning, Pokwang was supporting the Kapamilya network. However, Pokie face an intriguing questions when she guested on the other network, GMA 7 when Paolo Ballesteros announced that the comedienne will be their guest on Bawal Judgmental segment in Eat Bulaga. Her guesting went viral online, some netizens also noticed that she looked comfortable throwing banter with the hosts of Eat Bulaga.
With that, speculations about her network transfer surfaced. And her exclusive contract with the Kapamilya network was recalled and it was said that this will end next year.
Moreover, Pokwang still shows support for the franchise renewal of the ABS-CBN network. She also shared a post on Instagram about #VoteYestoABSCBN.
The confirmation of the comedian was seen on her Instagram when a user named @misspendon commented this “mukat mukat makikita mo si Pokwang nasa kabilang istasyon na.”
Pokwang replied to her and said that it is true. She revealed that she already asked permission to ABS-CBN last year that she will transferring. On the other hand, the comedienne said that she was not permitted by the bosses to leave.
“Hindi ba pwedend sumuporta muna bago umalis? May mga kaibigan akong maiiwan teh!” she said.
