Top Trending topic online! Vice Ganda reacts to DJ Loonyo wrong information about COVID-19 Mass Testing. Recently, Vice message his frontliner sister Dra. Tina Viceral to clarify some inaccurate claims of COVID-19 Mass Testing. 

According to Vice Ganda’s sister, “Hi Toy, wala naman pinapainom pag magpapa COVID test, pag PCR test, swabbing ang pagkuha ng specimen through the nose & oral cavity it takes few days bago lumabas ang result nun and the rapid testing pwedeng prick sa finger then tsaka idadrop sa test kit then lalabas na kung positiv or negative ang patient. Why?” 

Vice Ganda reply: “and ano meaning ng PCR Test? Just clarifying infos. Ano yung Swabbing ate? 

Vice Ganda sister Dr. Tina Viceral, “hehe..PCR (polymerase chain reaction) yun yung mas ginagawa for testing kasi mas accurate ang result. Either RNA detected (it means positive ang patient sa virus) or RNA not detected (meaning negative sa virus) nakalagay sa result na ibibigay sa patient. Pag PCR test, few days bago lumabas result.” 

“Super safe magpatest wala naman side effect or whatever chuva dahil swabbing lang naman or prick ang gagawin to test a patient. Dapat perfect score mo sa exam ha,” she added. 

DJ Loonyo was criticized when he mentions the COVID-19 Mass Testing, “don’t know kung anong gagamitin nila sa mass testing. Pero kung ano man ang ipapainom nila o ipapagawa nila, it’s a trial and error, that’s why it’s mass testing,” he said. “Kaya kawawa yung ano, kawawa yung mag i-intake, kawawa yung mag-u-undergo doon kasi it’s not a hundred percent proven.” 

“But for me, why would you test me? I’m a human being. I will react kung ano ang ipapainom mo sa akin,” he also said. 

Vice Ganda’s twitter post, “Not to bash DJ Loonyo. This is just to correct ung mga maling chika about Covid tests,” the celebrity quipped. “I asked my sister for enlightenment. Read nyo para chugug!” he added.”
