Cebu City Mayor Edgar Labella announced in a press conference, Friday, June 26, 2020, that a total of 178,000 quarantine passes will be provided to households in Cebu City.

Cebu city reached 930 new cases and 44 new deaths on its first week back on lockdown.

The following lists the new cases per day in Cebu City:

Monday, June 15 – 123
Tuesday, June 16 – 203
Wednesday, June 17 – 201
Thursday, June 18 – 122
Friday, June 19 – 104
Saturday, June 20 – 129
Sunday, June 21 – 48

A quarantine pass will indicate the name of the household member allowed to use it as well as his or her address. It also has a QR code that replicates the information to prevent unscrupulous use.

Under ECQ guidelines, there shall be a mandatory stay at home order for all individuals except for those using the quarantine pass to buy essential needs like food or medicine and authorized person outside residence (APOR).

People with QR code passes that end in odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) will be allowed to go out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays while those ending in even numbers (2, 4, 6, 8, 0) will be allowed to go out on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

No one except APOR may go out on a Sunday.
