Korean drama entitled “The World of The Married” set a new record for the highest drama rating in Korea’s cable TV history, based on the report on Soompi.
The World of the Married Couple was under the JTBC’s drama that achieved an average rating of 24.33 percent in Korean TV after its latest episode. Which breaks the previous record of 23.78 percent that was garnered by a 2019 K-drama entitled “Sky Castle”, this is according to the Nielsen Korea.
The story of “The World of the Married” is about a married couple Ji Sun Woo (Kim Hee Ae), a doctor and Lee Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon), a film director whose marriage seemed all perfect at first, until the wife later found out that her husband has been having an affair with Yeo Da Kyung (Han So Hee).
Based on the report of Soompi, the hit drama has four episodes left to run after JTBC releases the 12th episode over the weekend.
In their previous report, Soompi said from the ninth episode which aired on April 24 until its season finale the show will be rated 19+.
In addition, JTBC is a South Korean subscription network and broadcasting company and was launched on 1 December 2011.
