Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is one of the four Filipinas to have won the Miss Universe crown. She is a has appeared in some Kapamilya shows and projects even before the lockdown.

The ABS-CBN was recently taken down by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and many Kapamilya stars and workers, even the netizens are against it.

Pia posted on her Instagram saying that ABS-CBN holds a dear place in her heart. “To my ABSCBN family, I stand by you. I am still hopeful that all of this is just a challenge. Maayos rin ang lahat. #IStandWithABSCBN #NoToABSCBNShutdown.”

A Twitter account @IamCharotism uploaded a photo of Pia and President Duterte together with Pia’s post about ABS-CBN.
