Kapamilya comedian Vice Ganda and Actress Liza Soberano are also among the celebrities who auction off their “pre-loved” items, this is to aim for the raising funds to secure the COVID-19 test kits specifically for those underprivileged communities.
They are among the celebrities who participate in Shop & Share, a fundraiser spearheaded by fellow Kapamilya stars Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis.
Vice Ganda auction his signature shoes and hoodie, while Liza Soberano’s luxury shoes will be available for auction once Shop & Share launches, the group teased on Thursday.
Among the celebrities who were also selling their “pre-loved” items are; Regine Velasquez, Dingdong Dantes, Ogie Alcasid, Bea Alonzo, Joshua Garcia, and Dimples Romana, based by a teaser image Shop & Share that was posted on Wednesday.
However, the schedule of the auction has yet to be announced.
Moreover, the initiative was first done in 2009 in response to the Ondoy calamity. At that time, proceeds from auctioned designer bags, jewelry, and clothes, among others, were given to the Philippine Red Cross.
But this time, Shop & Share will be held to purchase COVID-19 test kits.
“With what we are able to raise, it is our aim to cover the expense for testing kits to the underprivileged who are affected by this global crisis,” the group said.
“We pursue this mission humbly, with compassion and kindness in hopes of aiding the government in increasing testing for COVID-19 in our own little way,” they added.
