Bayambang, Pangasinan Mayor and his wife had tested positive for the COVID-19, Mayor Cezar Quiambao said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

Based on a statement of Mayor Cezar Quiambao he said that he and his wife had a medical check-up last March 16. That’s when they decided to get tested for COVID-19 infection.
Quiambao said, “During our 14-day quarantine, we confirmed that we were both positive so we received proper treatment from the doctors who believe that we have now recovered,”

He said that they will undergo another 14-day self-quarantine, however, their condition has not yet been fully recovered.
In addition, Government Secretary Eduardo Año and former senator Bongbong Marcos are the recent officials who were tested positive for the COVID-19.
So far, as of the health department, the total cases of COVID-19 worldwide is 2,084, with 88 fatalities and 49 recoveries.
