Filipino’s abroad has confirmed a total of 335 who have been positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) including four fatalities as of Sunday, as of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Based on the update from DFA, a total of 111 fatalities have already recovered and discharged however, there are still 220 that are still undergoing treatment.
Two of the fatalities were in Europe, while the other two in Asia Pacific and Middle East/Africa regions.
Filipinos with COVID-19 infection were reported in at least 30 countries and regions.
Mostly, Asia Pacific was reported with 173 cases. Also, Europe has reported 86 cases and Middle East/Africa region has reported 47 cases, while in America they have 29 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The death toll from COVID-19 in the Philippines has risen to 71 on Sunday after the Department of Health reported three new fatalities. With the 343 new confirmed cases, the total reached was 1,418.
