Ogie Diaz responded to Mocha Uson in regards to the ABS-CBN franchise renewal issue saying, “Gusto mo lang magpalapad ng papel sa pangulo”.

The issue garnered various reactions from celebrities, politicians, and the online community because of the issue of the ABS-CBN franchise renewal.

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Deputy Administrator Esther Margaux “Mocha” Uson said that she is in favor of ABS-CBN shutdown amid the franchise renewal issue.

Ogie Diaz expressed his opinion towards Uson regarding his statement against the issue. According to Diaz, he had no resentment but he just wanted to correct Uson about her statement.

Diaz said that Uson is just making the situation worse and just fueling the people’s anger towards ABS-CBN. He then advises the OWWA to stick on her current job and do it properly since she is earning a salary of P155,000 per month.

Diaz said, “Dapat ikaw mismo tulungan mo yung pangulo—wag kang sumipsip,” he said. “Pagsumipsip ka nang sumipsip, gusto mo lang magpalapad ng papel sa pangulo, kahit ang pangulo ‘di bibilib sayo,” 

Diaz added that Uson should not deviate from her current job description and help President Duterte instead of spreading fake news as well as insulting Vice President Leni Robredo and other lawmakers.
