The World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11 declared COVID-19 a pandemic, as of (March 13, 2020) a total of 139,016 cases of the coronavirus illness in over 110 countries and territories around the world and 68,898 recovered from the epidemic disease.
Many people around the world are now on panic buying, you can’t even buy alcohol in some supermarket right now. Recently, the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte announces suspending all domestic travel to and from Metro Manila for one month, starting on Sunday, March 15 until April 14 as the region is placed under community quarantine.
Meanwhile, many Filipino receives this chain messages and stated some places for Possible Lockdown:
“Mag ready kayo ng mga ready to eat na pagkain, kasi may posibilidad na mag lock down ang buong Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Sanjuan, Antipolo, bgc,Cebu,Bacolod ,Makati, c5, Caloocan, sta.ana, EDSA, laspiñas, Cavite, Bulacan, payatas, nova, Batangas, laguna,Quezon city, santolan and Taguig walang taong papalabasin sa mga bahay kaya mas mabuti nang handa. Pa forward sa iba para aware din sila salamat,” a text message that we receive.
