Bacolod City is in the full battle mode to trace all possible coronavirus related cases within the reach of the health officials deployed in various borders of the towns and municipalities in the province to check every individual passing in and out.

According to report from the Facebook page of TV Patrol Negros, Bacolod Inter-Agency Task Force Spokesperson Dr. Grace Tan said, all Persons Under Monitoring (PUM) in the city accounted to as many as 801 on the record of Bacolod City Health Office.

Dr. Grace Tan also reported about the twelve (12) new Patients Under Investigation (PUI) which is currently admitted in the hospital of Bacolod as of March 19, 2020. According to Dr. Tan, five (5) of the PIU’s are Male and seven (7) of the PUI’s are female. Two (2) of the PUI’s are from out of town but the ten (10) of the PUI’s has traced travel from Manila and Dumaguete while two (2) of them has traveled history from London, Dubai and United Kingdom.

Dr. Tan added that the seven (7) PIU’s had already taken specimen and sent to Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, as of the moment, the health department in the city is waiting for the result.

Dr. Tan also noted that all PUI’s are in stable condition. Two (2) of the PUI’s were already discharged with improved condition.
