The coronavirus cases in Italy drastically increased as the world’s highest record of death toll of 712 in one day.

Italy, is one of the many nations greatly affected with this new strain of pathogenic disease that causes the nation total lockdown due to the said COVID-19 pandemic.

At first, Italian government implemented lockdown to some areas only including Lombardy the epicenter of the outbreak and 14 provinces in the country. The move did not contain the spread of the virus until lately Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte decided to put the entire nation under lockdown.

Recently, the Prime Minister is using the full force of military power to enforce the said lockdown covering the entire nation. No transportation and non-essential businesses are allowed to operate.

For the past several days, Italy reported hundreds of deaths every day and the highest recorded death spikes to 712 in one day. The new record of death tool in Italy brings the total of 8,215 out of 80,589 confirmed infected patients as of writing.

The death toll all over the world now is 24,119 based on the World Health Organization (WHO), out of 536,617 coronavirus cases.
