Iloili City Mayor Jerry Trenas announces to lockdown the city of Iloilo amid coronavirus pandemic that infect 219,240 confirmed cases all over the world and death toll at around 8,967 according to the worldometers.info as of writing.
According to the RMN Iloilo Facebook page, Trenas noted that during the lock down period, essential businesses will stay open to accommodate the needs of the people like as of the following establishments:

It is also advised to observed social distancing in public jeepneys and other crowded transportation vehicles as the city mayor allowed them continue operation during the lockdown period.
Some other concern included to the advisory released from the office of the city mayor is the implementation of the curfew which will start at 8:00 P.M. until 5:00 A.M. to be observed by all residents of Iloilo City. Nobody allowed to stay in the highways, public alleys, commercial establishments, malls and shopping centers and even people are not allowed to stay outside of their respective houses.
