LUZON, DOLE (Department Of Labor And Employment) urges big companies to pay their employees during a 1 month long quarantine in (LUZON) to control the spread of COVID19 which force the NCR region for a lockdown. The above mention areas are completely devastated by the virus that requires the national government for an immediate action to close the cities borders and monitor the in and out of the people.

This is in relation to President Rodrigo Duterte plead to big companies to consider the welfare of their employees and if possible release their 13 month pay on a pro rated basis.

Sec. Bello also stated “Yung madidisplace na workers, sila na muna mag-shoulder ng 1 month salary.”

This is addressing the influential and rich families in the country (Sy, Ty and Gokongwei), wherein they should consider paying the one month salary of their displaced workers.

The Labor Sec. promised the displaced workers not to worry because the government will give them jobs by helping disinfect its buildings and other concerns.

Meanwhile still the country is still doing its best to control the disease and DOH reported 3 patients recovered from the virus this is considered to be good news.
