The Davao City Mayor and presidential daughter Sara Duterte-Carpio will undergo self-quarantine. This was after a member of her staff was listed among patients under monitoring for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“Mayor Sara Duterte shall undergo a voluntary monitored home quarantine and has signed up as a Person Under Monitoring under the Davao City Health Office,”

“One of Mayor Duterte’s employees at their residence was unwell last night and is now also listed as a Person Under Monitoring,” Duterte-Carpio’s statement on Thursday.

Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio was also with Senator Sherwin Gatchalian in a lunch meeting with Committee on Environment, Senator Gatchalian is now under self-quarantine after interacting with a COVID-19 positive Senate visitor.

According to Mayor Sara, she hasn’t experience flu-like symptoms yet.

“She is now confined in an isolated bedroom at her residence and will continue to work through emails, messaging, and video telecon.” based on the report.

Senator Nancy Binay, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, Executive Secretary, and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
