BACOLOD CITY- The City Health Office of Bacolod city continue monitoring Person Under Monitoring (PUM) and Person Under Investigation (PUI) while the office of the governor in the province of Negros Occidental, Eugenio Jose “Bong” Lacson is preparing for the contingency plan to implement enhance community quarantine for the entire province to be started on Monday, March 30, 2020.

Few days before the enhance community quarantine, Bacolod City Mayor Atty. Evelio “Bing” Leonardia announces another three (3) confirmed cases today.

According to Leonardia, the new patient of 27-year-old got infected due to his exposure to a 56-year-old COVID-19 patient. The DOH clarifies that the new patient’s age is 28.

The two (2) other patients, the 40-year-old who had a travel history from Quezon City and went back home in Bacolod on March 8 while the other one the 75-year-old had a travel history from Manila and went back home in Bacolod on March 7.

The three (3) new cases round up to four (4) total cases in the city of Bacolod and reportedly stable condition.

As to remember, on March 20, 2020, the first coronavirus case in the city was recorded by the health department to a 56-year-old male with a travel history from London.

The netizens following the Facebook Page DYHB Tatak RMN expresses concern. Some said they want to know the detail of the patients’ place or the barangay of the victims coming from so that people are aware.

Meanwhile, Leonardia issued Executive Order No.26 an order placing Bacolod under enhanced community quarantine from March 30 to April 14, 2020.
