Bacolod City Mayor Bing Leonardia confirms the first case of confirmed patient positive of coronavirus or COVID-19 in the city.

The patient is a 56-year-old with traced travel history in London. The said patient arrived in the city last February 29, 2020 who is now admitted in the hospital in Bacolod.

According to the report, the 56-year-old male patient is currently admitted in the hospital under isolation. His doctor said that the patient is now well and recovering.

The city government headed by Mayor Bing Leonardia and Vice Mayor Elcid Familiaran and the city officials are now doing the best effort to trace people in contact and his travel history.

City authorities strongly advised to please stay at home.
