In pursuit of containing the 2019-nCoV or commonly known as “Novel Corona Virus” that affects and threatens the lives of thousands of people in the world today. Finally, scientists have discovered the cure for the said virus and registered it now as legitimate drug to cure the patients.

Previously, international report said that medical experts in United States of America was developing new treatment to cure the said virus. The Department of Health (WHO) and the group of Human Services in the US with the partnership of the Regeneron is doing best to develop monoclonal against the infection.

The same report also published by the international website stating that the medical experts have already tested that drugs used for patients with HIV is also working to the coronavirus patients. Thai doctors claimed that they have already tested treating 2 infected patients successfully with the use of a combined drugs for HIV and the flu drugs.

According the same report published by the “UNTV Radyo Laverdad” the new antiviral drug to cure the 2019-nCoV has been registered after thorough study and named it “REMDESIVIR.” The said antiviral drug developed through joined effort of Gilead Sciences and American Pharmaceutical company.

The REMDESIVIR is set to use for treatment to the 761 coronavirus infected patients in Wuhan China as clinical trial. The good news in addition to the treatment of coronavirus by using this drug, the REMDESIVIR, is also used for treating SARS and MERS as well as Ebola infections.

Meanwhile, in supported to the approval of this drug, the China Ministry of Science and Technology, National Health Commission, and the National Medical Products Administration has already approved this drug to be used in their country.

Meanwhile, health authorities give advice to the public to observe precautionary measure to avoid being infected by the 2019-nCoV.
