The Department of Health is monitoring at least 31 possible carriers of the virus in the Philippines.
Due to corona virus outbreak the local government of Baguio decided to cancels the Panagbenga festival 2020 as been declared by it city mayor.
The said declaration aims to keep the public away from the danger of the corona virus infection and to hinder is rapid spreading in the public.
Panagbenga is one of the most decorated festivals in the Philippines which almost spans for a month just like Masskara festival in Bacolod City.
Panagbenga a celebration for the “Season of Blooming” attract many tourist around the world and expected to be attended of thousands visitors.
According to Baguio City Many Benjamin Magalong he is cancelling the Panagbenga parade for the sake of its people and for the safety of the many.
But they will still continue the parade as per advisory of the people in charge of the festival.
The new corona virus lately reported is first victim in the Philippines, as per DOH report thru Sec. Duque it was a Chinese woman from Wuhan she is around 38 years old and had a history travel from Wuhan to Hongkong and arrived here in the country last January 21, 2020.
She is now undergone serious and tight quarantine to avoid contact with other people is the public.
