Daniel Padilla and James Reid are both known for being popular in the Philippines. Being in one of the biggest and famous fandoms, having a collaboration together is beyond expectation. But then again, who would’ve thought that it will come to reality.

Two big brands, Pepsi and Mountain Dew brought Daniel and James together in an action-packed collaboration for the very first time.

Daniel, as the brand ambassador of Pepsi, stated that “Excited ako sa maio-offer namin ni James. Sino bang mag-aakala na gagawa kaming dalawa [ng isang collaboration]? May makikita sila na mga eksena dito na first time nila mapanood sa ‘min ni James,”

James, as the brand ambassador of Mountain Dew said, “It’s definitely something new I can bring to the fans,”

“I’ve always wanted to do more action,” James added.

The two actors must’ve been enjoying the project “Doble Hataw”, since James also said the drifting and driving the cars are definitely the coolest part about the shoot.

Both of them are asked to race against each other. James Reid maneuvering a pick-up truck, while Daniel Padilla maneuvering a sports car.

“Ang ‘Doble Hataw’ is all about, lahat doble. Doble sa saya, doble sa lupit, doble sa aksyon. At doble rin ang artista,” Daniel says. “Ganda ng project na ‘to. Bagay na bagay sa ‘min ni James.”

“It’s two cars and two stars. Double the thrill,” James adds.
