One of the most controversial blog of American YouTube star Logan Paul is the alleged video footage of a dead body taken from Aokigahara forest in Japan to the placed popularly known as “Japanese Suicide Forest” and known to be as the site where youth are frequently found committing suicides.
The video of the dead body uploaded by Mr. Paul on his YouTube channel captioned the lines saying “We found a dead body in the Japanese Suicide Forest…” The said video caught up the attention of the online world and became the most popular topic and published on different sources of social media channel. Immediately, the video went viral after posting and garnered more than 6.3 million hit views within 24 hours since uploaded.
The 22-year-old Ohio-born actor admitted himself it was a mistake to share video to his more than 15 million subscribers on YouTube. Because of this act, he suffered criticism of his video prompting him to delete the video and made a public apology for being misguided by shock and awe.
Amidst controversy, Mr. Paul clarifies that he is not making money of his video, rather, he just want to expressed concerned about giving information for the American Society for Suicide Prevention.
Mixed reactions from his followers, but most of the comments are negative. Some said that there was no video footage of the dead body since there is no evidence of the video left to prove there was. And some said it was just click bait because his reaction did not conform to the real scenarios of seeing dead body due to committing suicide.
