Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) features the life story of Loloy, one of the Hero during Marawi City Clash. In young age, Loloy loves to help people but due to bad influence of his friends, he stops his studies and later learns to play gambling, drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes. Until one day, he becomes one of the member of Protestant Christian Religion that changes his whole life.
Loloy decided with friends to go in Marawi City to find job in order to finish his studies. Loloy meets Atty. Ramy, and he worked for him as house helper while attending school.
Years after, Loloy meets Garcia (teacher) and later becomes his wife. They are not blessed to have a child but adopt Loloy’s younger sister newly born baby, Brian. They live a simple life and happy complete family.
After one day, Marawi siege breaks out (Phillippine Army versus terrorist Maute Group). Loloy find the safest place for them to hide from the terrorist group.
