#WalangPasok on Friday, September 1, 2017 due to Eid’l Adha or the “Feast of Sacrifice.” President Rodrigo Duterte signed it on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Proclamation no. 297, “Declaring, Friday, 01 September 2017, as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Adha or the “Feast of Sacrifice.”

It is an official holiday in Muslim-majority countries and in the Philippines for the Eid al-Adha “Islam’s holiest festival celebrated annually around.”
Eid’l Adha is now trending in social networking sites such as Twitter.

It is another long weekend as President Rodrigo Duterte announces Sept. 1 is a regular holiday thought-out the country.
