Miss France Iris Mittenaere crowned as the 65th Miss Universe 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Monday, January 30, 2017.

Outgoing Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach turned over her crown to the 23-year-old newly proclaimed Miss Universe 2017 Miss Iris Mittenaere of France.

The 65th Miss Universe was born in Lille of France who is still pursuing her dream of her chosen field of profession as dentistry.

Her advocacy is giving importance on dental and oral hygiene and strenghtens them once she will take home the crown of victory as Miss Universe.

With her are the second runner-up Miss Colombia Andrea Tovar and Miss Haiti Raquel Pelissier who also won first runner-up.

The Philippines’ bet, Maxine Medina, only last up to the Top 6 of the competition.
