The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) release a total of 6,836 out of 14,322 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing. The University of Santo Tomas got a hundred percentage for Top Performing of Schools while Abra Valley College got the highest score of 38. 71% (Overall Performance).
Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing administered the licensure examination in the cities of Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga, held last November 26 & 27, 2016.
Examinees answered the following subjects below;
Saturday (November 26, 2016) – Nursing Practice 1- Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice, Nursing Practice II – Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child, Nursing Practice III – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part A).
Sunday (November 27, 2016) – Nursing Practice IV – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part B), Nursing V – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part C).

Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice”.
