The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) release a total of 5,249 out of 14,390 passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy. Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy administered the licensure examination in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena and Tacloban, held last October 1, 2, 8 & 9, 2016.

The members of the Board of Accountancy was composed by Joel L. Tan-Torres, Chairman; Eliseo A. Aurellado, Gerard B. Sanvictores, Gloria T. Baysa, Concordio S. Quisaot, Samuel B. Padilla and Arlyn S. Villanueva, Members. The official result was announce in 8 working days after the last day of examination.

Examinees answered the following subjects: Advance Financial Accounting and Reporting Practical Accounting II, Auditing, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Management Advisory Services, Taxation, Regulatory Framework for Business Transactions.
