In an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, Senator Leila De Lima has denied the allegations linking her with the illegal drug trade in the country thus claimed her innocence despite the many accusations that are being pushed desperately to her by some.
De Lima has been criticized what she believed to be is a plotted demolition job against her by distracting her to continue to investigate series of extrajudicial and vigilante killings around the country.
De Lima told Amanpour that she was being warned to proceed with the Senate Injury or they would destroy her. De Lima added that she knows the truth and it is on her side.
The Senator pointed out that behind these accusations are no less than the highest official of the land, which is President Rodrigo Duterte. These accusations involved her being a drug coddler, protector of drug lords and even being involved in drugs and she said it was an absolute lie.

The former Justice Secretary Stand firm in supporting the on-going anti-drug campaign but emphasizing the least number of casualties and killings could be prevented by reforming the criminal justice system without shortcuts in trying to achieve law and order in the country.
