A 33-year-old Filipina singer, Ivy Grace Paredes has survived this week’s Boot Camp in the Over 25s Category of the X Factor UK 2016.  She was heard performing Mariah Carey’s hit song “One Sweet Day” with Mike Hough and Lascel Wood.

Ivy Grace now on the Six Chair Challenge that will start next week will compete with other acts in the Overs category and will eventually reduce each category to just six acts each.

It was revealed on today’s show which groups the judges would be mentoring. Simon Cowell got the girls, Nicole Scherzinger for the Boys, Sharon Osbourne the Overs and Louis Walsh for the Groups.

In Episode 6 last week of the X Factor, it was remembered that Ivy Grace Paredes amazed all the four judges in the first audition with her own rendition of “All the Man I Need”, a Whitney Houston hit song in the 90’s.  Simon Cowell reacted that Paredes’ performance was more than amazing and half incredible and somehow been possessed.
